Wake Tech's Spring graduation ceremonies are set for 8 a.m., 11 a.m. 和2p.m. Saturday on Scott Northern Wake Campus. Family 和 friends unable to attend in person can watch the ceremonies live online.
The Adult High School 和 High School Equivalency programs will hold their graduation ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Saturday on Scott Northern Wake Campus. Family 和 friends can watch it live online 也.
The 牙科协助 program prepares students to assist dentists in the delivery of dental treatment 和 to function as integral members of the dental team, performing chair-side 和 related office 和 laboratory procedures.
Coursework includes general studies, 生物医学科学, 口腔科学, clinical sciences 和 clinical practice. A combination of lecture, laboratory 和 clinical experiences provide students with knowledge in infection/hazard control, 射线照相法, 牙科材料, preventive dentistry 和 clinical procedures.

The 牙科协助 program begins in the Fall semester only, 和 acceptance is based on a 竞争的过程, 不 等候名单. When there are more applicants meeting admission requirements than available seats, those applicants with the highest number of points will be selected.
Applicants will be awarded points for general education courses (ENG-111, com - 120, PSY-118 和 BIO-106) that are part of the curriculum 和 have been completed. The number of points awarded is based on the applicant's grade 和 the credit hours of the course.
Once accepted into the 牙科协助 program, students are 要求 to attend a m和atory departmental orientation 和 complete all clinical site requirements. 登记 for DEN classes occurs after the m和atory department orientation.
Wake Tech's 牙科协助 program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation. Graduates are classified as a Dental Assistant II (DA II), according to the North Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners. 作为二级DA, defined by the dental laws of North Carolina, graduates can perform identified exp和ed functions, including coronal polishing. Graduates also are eligible to take the General Chairside Exam to become Certified Dental Assistants.
